Wolf Laurel CC Golf Offers High Elevation, Exhilaration
With club membership in the Wolf Laurel Country Club, property owners at Mountainside Townhomes may enjoy superb golf and a fabulous clubhouse with decadent dining.
Few golf courses in the eastern U.S. are set at a higher elevation than Wolf Laurel Country Club, an 18-hole, par-72 mountain classic designed by William Lewis. From tee to green the golf course experiences elevation changes of as much as 310 feet on a single hole.
Said to be the highest course in the eastern US, WLCC was designed in 1965 by W. B. Lewis. It rises and falls from 3,600 to over 4,800 feet in elevation, where one literally tees off into the clouds.
Tee to green elevations change by more than 300 feet, and when combined with the fact there are virtually no parallel fairways, the experience is pristine, solitary and energizing.
The WLCC Men's Group plays every Tuesday & Friday at 9;30 AM, from May until the season ends. We also hold a Breakfast Tournament on the second Friday of each month.
The WLWGA meets each Wednesday morning from May 27, until the weather changes. We welcome all inquiries.
